Annabelle Gurwitch was born on November 4, 1961 in Mobile, Alabama. On May 12, 1996, she married Jeff Kahn, in Santa Barbara, California. Jeff was born on June 29, 1962.

Annabelle attended New York University, and her husband Jeff attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Annabelle is an accomplished television and motion picture actress, currently appearing as co-host of TBS' Dinner and a Movie. . Her recent work includes: "Masterminds,"opposite Patrick Stewart, "Lovestruck," starring opposite Costas Mandylor ("Picket Fences") and Suzanne Somers ("Step By Step"), "Mousehunt" with Nathan Lane, and a supporting role in Mike Figgis' ("Leaving Las Vegas") new film "One Night Stand" with Wesley Snipes. Her other film work includes "Life With Mikey," with Michael J. Fox, and HBO's "Pizzaman," opposite Bill Maher and "The Cable Guy" with Jim Carrey. She has also starred with Treat Williams in ABC's "Eddie Dodd" and guest starred in over 30 series, including "Seinfeld," "Murphy Brown," "Tales From the Crypt," "Dream On," "The Last Frontier" and "L.A. Firefighters."
